IRCA SOCIAL SYSTEMS FOUNDATION TRAINING
(BASED ON SA 8000, ETI AND RELEVANT TO CODE OF CONDUCT ETC)

Course Description:
SA 8000 stands for "Social Accountability 8000", ETI Stands for “Ethical Trade Initiative” It is the first global standard for ethical sourcing applicable to all industries, any where in the world. Based on the conventions of the International Labour Organization and related international human rights instruments. Social Systems sets out auditable provisions on child labour, forced labour, health and safety, compensation and working hours, and the management to deliver them.

Why Social System?
Increasing pressures from customers, the general public, pressure groups and the governments are exerted on companies to demonstrate their commitments to ethical purchasing.  In response, many businesses have developed their own codes of conduct to specify fair and safe conditions with which their products should be made.
