Apr 2009 | 2009 Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum & Exhibition (MIECF) With the support of Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute and Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Centre, SGS Hong Kong delivered a presentation on April 03, 2009 at the 2009 Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum & Exhibition (MIECF) in Venetian Macao-Resort-Hotel. The event was hosted by Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region and co-organized by the provincial and regional governments in the Pan-Pearl River Delta Region and with special support by the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the People's Republic of China and environmental authorities of China. The session featured sustainability and carbon footprint as the main theme, brief ideas on product life cycle and ecodesign have also been introduced. After the presentation, we received remarkable responses from the participants who were interested in our professional solutions. |

Feb 2009 | Seminar on Energy Management for Buildings SGS was proudly invited to deliver a presentation at the seminar on Energy Management for Buildings, co-organized by Office for the Development of the Energy Sector of Macao SAR and Macao Productivity and Technology Transfer Centre-Quality Department. On 25 February at CPTTM Head office, SGS’s Energy Services put a concerted focus on trends in energy management, concepts of energy management and its relationship with building operations, approaches of adopting energy management system in building facilities management, case studies on energy verification and other information exchange. The seminar was well attended by engineers, energy managers, energy auditors, building services managers and plant managers. |
