More than 30 major electronics and electrical companies in the globe have joined together to have the same objective in improving the working conditions and environmental stewardship throughout their electronics supply chain. This group of companies develops and supports a common code in being the Best Ethical Code in the Electrical & Electronic Industry. This Code sets forth performance, compliance, auditing and reporting guidelines across a range of company general practices, including (1) labor issues, (2) health & safety issues, (3) environmental practices, (4) ethics and (5) management systems, and is now widely adopted in becoming the standard for social responsibility in the electronics sector.

Being compliance to the code would enables you to demonstrate in being social responsible to the society when bidding for international contracts or expanding locally to accommodate new business. This seminar will guide you through the audit requirement against the Code, and how SGS could help your organization to develop and improve Code of Conduct commitment.
